Monica Jackman, OTD, MHS, OTR/L
Dr. Jackman is an occupational therapist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Health Science degree from the University of Florida, and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. She is certified in the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT certified), is a certified provider of Electro-Trigger Point Stimulation (ETPS), and holds a designation as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). Dr. Jackman has served as a consultant in the areas of nutrition and therapy services in CA, VA, KY, and GA. She has provided extensive multi-disciplinary clinical training, mentoring, compliance monitoring and auditing to various state hospitals. As a consultant, she has assisted in the development and implementation of proactive and interdisciplinary policies and processes to promote wellness and reduce medical and behavioral risk. As a clinician, Dr. Jackman has practiced as an occupational therapist within inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, and worked with individuals of all ages (birth to elder adults) with conditions such as intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, CVA, TBI, hand injury, Developmental Coordination Disorder, dyslexia, behavior disorders, and mental illness.
